The Polka Dot Rose is a sweet online shop where you will find both new and vintage items. I come from a long line of treasure hunters and my home is starting to burst at the seams from years of collecting. I have always had a love of all things beautiful, feminine, soft and snuggly. Comfort decorating. I love opulance and decadence. Laces, ribbons, buttons and bows...always have been a sugar and spice and everything nice type of gal. Too much is never enough. Sound familiar?
My home is decorated with a floral theme. Soft cabbage roses, hydrangeas, queen anne's lace, fresh lavender, violets and pansies to name a few. When I watch decorating home shows where they are looking to sell their house, the 'professionals' suggest they make the rooms appeal to the masses; not to reflect a feminine decor; not cluttered with collections. I guess I won't be moving any time soon! They don't know what they are missing!
